Our beginnings... the Chicken Coop.
In 1973, a young evangelist from Florida named Lonnie Langston held tent meetings in Brier Hill, NY. People from around the region began attending the meetings, and in 1974 Lonnie moved the meetings to an old Chicken Coop just outside of Ogdensburg, NY.
RCF expansion to Gouverneur
From 2013-2014 RCF was experiencing extreme growth. Elders and Deacons were added to the church. The church considered expanding the building or planting a church, but by Summer 2014 Pastor Mike considered trying the "one church, two locations" idea in Gouverneur. A building became available from West Side Baptist Church and after much prayer the church purchased it. On Feb 1st, 2015 Gouverneur Christian Fellowship began having services and on April 5th they Publicly launched.
